I’m a loose cannon...and I’m ready to fire!

What I want, I get.

Women can't resist me. They see me and they're like "Pull the trigger, baby."

I take aim and I explode!

Being arrested hasn't slowed me down one bit.

I'm out on parole, but good behavior is the last thing on my mind.

You can’t tame a sex addict. Especially not when they give me a therapist straight from my wildest fantasies.

I want her, and for just one taste, I’ll pay the ultimate price.

Bad Boy Exposed is a hot and steamy romance with no cliffhangers and a HEA. Lots of twists and turns as you'll dive deep into the world of Camilla, Tyler, Maya, Zane & Dylan until it all comes together at the end.

I'm not sure I want to finish. I've been trying to "get through it" for 2 days now. Bad Boy Exposed has the potential for being a great suspense drama or a sexy read but it's not right now. The sex scenes are not even coming to a simmer. There are too many people headlining the book. The synopsis leads you to believe the story is about Zane and his therapist but it's not only them. Storyline was not flowing or exciting. I bought the book because the synopsis sounded great and it came with 4 stars. They are both deceiving. I am going back to try and finish but based on the content thus far there will not be much redemption if any.

Bad Boy Exposed edition by Ashlee Price Literature Fiction eBooks Reviews

I received an copy of this book in exchange for a voluntary honest review.

It is very rare that I say I hate a book, and I stop just short of that designation here, but I will say that this book pissed me off on a multitude of levels.

The first would be the opening of the story. The action is gripping, the story being that of a woman having to survive a mall shooting and its aftermath. The problem is that the reason she is in the mall in the first place is to get a dress to go out on a date... With one of therapy patients! Instead of focusing on the action, it is swept aside, and instead of learning a lesson, she then falls for two more patients, one of whom is a psychopath who has killed a previous girlfriend ( to be fair, you don't find that out until the end). The whole story starts in a skeevy place and it doesn't seem to get much better.

The author's conventions while writing are poor as well. If the author feels the need to give me a summary of what is to happen at the beginning of each part of the story, she obviously has not done her job correctly. It comes off as middle school kids trying to describe a book, and it is both insulting and poorly done. The back and forth POV between not one, not two, but five characters is just annoying as hell, and makes the plot incredibly confusing. A more seasoned writer might have been able to handle it, but then a seasoned writer would have avoided this premise.

Was it worth it for the sex scenes? Not really. I love a sexy scene in a book, but the characters have to be there for this to really gel and they simply weren't. No one in this story had clean hands and it made it very hard to want to have anything to do with them.
"I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book"
There is a pretty good thriller hiding under this. But as it is, I didn’t like the book. The page makes is sound like Zane is the main character, he is not. Not really. He is the villain. He doesn’t even show up until a ways into the book. As for the rest of the characters, none of them are very likeable. Maya is perhaps the most likable but you mostly feel sorry for her.
Problems
The main character, Camilla, is a psychologist or psychiatrist (it is never specified) who was at a mall shooting. After a week of not leaving her bed, another partner at the practice tells her that treating the other people at the same shooting will help her but never suggests that she needs treatment. This would not happen. They also set it up so that the main character is an unethical therapist who has a pattern of dating patients. So right off the bat, it is easy not to like her much. It would have been better if it was written where she is making bad decisions because of not getting treatment for her own trauma and trying to treat others who were at that shooting.
Tyler is also not very likable. He is a married man having many affairs going on at the same time and is now interested in his therapist as well. He is charming and seems to think everyone is going to fall at his feet. He just doesn’t come off well. It is never really explained why he marries someone he doesn’t really love.
Maya is his wife who married him for his lifestyle. She comes off as a gold digger at first but you quickly feel sorry for her as it seems she initially was trying to make it work and she has finally decided that if her husband is going to cheat non- stop, she might as well look for some happiness herself. She feels bad about it but she also seems to be thinking of leaving her husband for both of their sakes.
Dylan. He owns a restaurant and is widowed. He seems rather flat.
Zane is an ex-con who goes in for therapy for sex addition. You do not treat a sex addict by sleeping with him. His obsessive behavior is pretty obvious and yet the main character totally fails to notice it until it is too late.
Several of these characters are introduced with a one page into which is not needed in the book. It is rather annoying. It feels like reading the writers notes for character creation that were accidently shuffled into the book.
The book is described as ‘hot and steamy’ on . The sex scenes are not hot and steamy. They are flat and uninspired. They read like some of the sex scenes in old western books that were written by men for men. Most women expect more from their sex scenes.
Over all, it comes across as a poorly researched, badly organized story made up of unlikable characters and insipid sex scenes.
Multiple stories many short but fun and exciting to escape into for a short period of time ! Go read
This story shows the pov for five characters. All but one is intertwined by a therapist, the odd one out is ones wife and another's lover. While the blurb does tell about one character, it doesn't exactly match the story. It leads you to believe the story will go one direction while it actually leans another. It is well written, and while the multiple pov might be confusing at first, they all lead to and connect in the end.
